Helping teams improve collaboration

Team Coaching is one of the fastest growing disciplines in the coaching profession and is becoming increasingly important in organizations, including private corporations, government agencies and non-profits.

Team Coaching empowers teams to work toward continued high performance and ongoing development, requiring innovation, flexibility, adaptability and goal alignment – all traits that coaching helps support.

ICF’s Team Coaching provides a clear, concise definition for Team Coaching – partnering in a co-creative and reflective process with a team on its dynamics and relationships in a way that inspires them to maximize their abilities and potential in order to reach their common purpose and shared goals. This model is designed to build upon and integrate with the ICF Core Competencies in team coaching contexts.

Some teams grind through problems. Great teams grow through them. At True North Leadership Consultants, we don’t simply coach individuals, we enhance entire executive teams through our executive team coaching, enabling them to navigate complexity, align more quickly, and deliver sustained results.

If your organization is ready to move from talented individuals to a truly integrated leadership unit, you’re in the right place.

We Coach Teams to Thrive, Not Just Survive

Team Coaching is one of the fastest-growing disciplines in the coaching profession, and for good reason. Today’s private corporations, government agencies, and non-profits face shifting markets, resource constraints, and rapid change.

Our team coaching engages the whole system: the relationships, the norms, the decision habits, and the shared ambitions that determine whether a team merely functions or consistently performs.

Our Approach Builds High Performance and Ongoing Development

We meet your team where you are and design an executive team coaching and personal coaching services that blends facilitated sessions, real-time observation, and targeted practice. The result is a leadership team that is innovative, flexible, adaptable, and aligned on what matters most.

We focus on behaviors you can apply immediately, during planning meetings, cross-functional initiatives, board updates, and high-stakes decisions, so progress shows up in the work, not just in the workshop.

We Turn Strategic Intent into Daily Discipline

Our executive team coaching helps your team:

  • Navigate the challenges of today’s hyper-complex and fast-changing world by establishing clear priorities, roles, and decision rights.
  • Develop better processes for decision-making, communication, and work organization so that meetings are shorter, execution speeds up, and accountability is maintained.
  • Work more effectively with other teams through shared operating mechanisms and transparent handoffs.
  • Develop greater clarity of purpose with a compelling, measurable team charter that guides choices under pressure.
  • Become “future fit” by building learning loops, scenario thinking, and resilience routines into your operating rhythm.

Our Outcomes Are Practical and Measurable

You’ll see the impact in sharper strategies, faster cycle times, stronger cross-team collaboration, and higher engagement scores. We track leading indicators (decision quality, meeting effectiveness, trust) and tie them to lagging results (growth, efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction), so your investment translates into performance.

We’re Ready When You Are

Whether you’re forming a new leadership team, integrating functions after a reorg, or leveling up a seasoned group for its next horizon, we will guide you there. Let’s align your leaders, amplify your impact, and set a course your whole organization can follow.
